Welcome to Construction Equipment, Inc. website, and thank you in advance for considering us for your garage door and garage door opener needs. We also carry many specialty items for use in the construction industry. Located at 711 Jeffords Street in Clearwater, we have a showroom that includes garage doors, garage door openers, commercial generators, mortar mixers, hardware tools and much more. Our office hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm.
Construction Equipment, Inc. was established in 1952 and has been a family owned and operated company since 1964 when W. F. Werder became President of the company. Mr. Werder has since retired from the company but still serves on the Board of Directors of Construction Equipment, Inc. Currently, Mr. W.F. Werder’s son, Paul, who has been an officer of the company since 1978, operates the company. Along with Paul are his son and daughter who both worked in the business in their growing years and now as officers of the company assist in the day-to-day operations. The company continues to be committed to personalized customer service with Mr. W.F. Werder’s core corporate values, honesty and morals always serving as the foundation for future success. Since 1964, we have been installing and servicing garage doors and garage door openers in Pinellas County. Our contractor’s equipment department specializes in sales and rental of many products used by contractors that are hard to find in your large warehouse type department stores. Scaffolding, post-shores, lintel clamps, mortar mixers, concrete saws, and commercial generators are some of the products offered. A repair shop is also on site for small engine repairs.
